Holiday Train to Hit Bowmanville Nov 30th

CP’s Holiday Train ready to brighten Bowmanville, Oshawa on Nov. 30

Clarington This Week

DURHAM -- The brightly lit CP’s Holiday Train will be rolling into Bowmanville and Oshawa soon.

Performers Devin Cuddy and Kelly Prescott will take the train stage and Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance.

The concerts are always free, but people are encouraged to make a donation to the local food bank -- either a non-perishable food item or a cash donation. The Holiday Train program encourages people attending events to bring heart healthy donations.

For the 17th year, the Holiday Train will travel through dozens of communities, raising food and cash donations for local food banks.

The Holiday Train rolls into Bowmanville on Monday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. at the Scugog Street rail road crossing just west of downtown Bowmanville. After a brief and bright bit of Christmas fun, the Holiday Train pulls out of town at 3:45 p.m.

The next stop for the Holiday Train is Oshawa, at 680 Laval Dr. behind the Walmart off Stevenson Road South. The train will arrive at 4:30 p.m.
